Case of the week: Enamel Hypoplasia 4

This week I have a case of enamel hypoplasia on the maxillary central incisors.  I have no information on the history of this case and any possible causes. If you have some ideas, please feel free to share in the comments.

Note the wavy radiolucent lines in the middle portion of the crown.  This is due to the altered formation of the enamel.

    I have a question with regards to the radiographic appearance of enamel in this condition. Is the enamel mostly radiopaque with radiolucent lines??

      Yes, the enamel is mostly radiopaque with a few wavy horizontal radiolucent lines through it.

    Like some systemic disturbance such as chemotherapy, severe illness, high fever, etc for an extended period of time so that appropriate calcification did not occur
