This month I have a case this week and one more coming in 2 weeks (June 24th) to practice your image shift and SLOB (Same-Lingual, Opposite-Buccal) information.

The object in question is the pin in the mandibular right second premolar.

Which direction (buccal or lingual) is the pin in relation to the root canal space?

The pin is most likely buccal as the object moves to the opposite side in the tube shift technique
