The next section I cover for radiology reports is caries. How to go about this for a radiology report can be as simple as listing teeth and surfaces with carious lesions identified to having a table to list the surfaces.
For some posts on caries identification on radiographs you can check these pages out – interproximal caries, occlusal caries, root caries, recurrent caries.
Since formatting is all up to you, I’ll just show a sample report.
Side note: when I was working with students I would list where the caries was present and not the potential restoration surfaces that would be replaced.
Next up is Periodontal Assessment and Pediatric Assessment.
Thanks and enjoy!
