Oral Radiology site of the month: University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill

The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill is one of the five programs in the United States with a graduate oral and maxillofacial radiology program.  I have checked out their site from time to time as I know that it is a work in progress and continually growing.  On my most recent trip, I found a great interactive tool to show common positioning errors of pantomographs and what the resultant image will look like.  Select the panoramic positioning errors on the left to start using the tool.

This is a great resource for any new student who is beginning work with pantomographs.  It is also a great source for anyone working in a private office needing to understand how to fix common errors.

Take a look at it and let me know what you think.

Thanks.
